About Us

The Leisurewoods Property Owners Association (LPOA) is a nonprofit corporation governed by a board of nine members elected by the membership. Through the collection of membership dues, the association maintains the common areas in the subdivision, including the entrance sign and landscaping, the pool, the tennis court, and a few other undeveloped lots in the neighborhood.  In addition, the association maintains streetlights and organizes community action on issues of common interest such as water utility rates, roads, and drainage.  The association also supports efforts of the architectural control committees (but is not formally related those committees).  The architectural control committees monitor the subdivision

for deed restriction violations and help to maintain property appearance and

value.

All residents benefit from the presence and actions of the association, without regard to membership. In addition to the common benefits, paid members and their families are entitled to use of the pool and the tennis court.

Membership is open to the owner of each lot in the five sections that comprise Leisurewoods. The owners of lots in Section 2 are required to be members of the association (this is a requirement of the deed restrictions governing Section 2; it is not within the power of theassociation to change or waive this requirement
