LPOA Architectural Control Committee Information

The Leisurewoods neighborhood includes deed restrictions on what changes can be made to your property. We have Architectural Control Committees for each section of the development. Information on filing a plan of approval can be found below as well as links to all the necessary documents.Please contact the Architectural Committee for your section with any questions.

Approval of Plan (AoP) with the Architectural Control Committee (ACC) for all Leisurewoods Sections.

  1. Review your deed restrictions PRIOR to planning your project to ensure your plan will not violate deed restrictions.

  7. Locate the AoP form for your section.
  8. Complete the AOP form. Be as specific as possible and provide as much detail as you can. Include the type of materials you plan to use, location, size, color etc.
  9. Provide estimated dates of start and completion of your project.
  10. If applicable, attach a copy of your survey with a drawn in sketch of where your project will be on your lot.
  11. If applicable, provide a drawing, building plans, pictures or anything you can to help describe what you intend to do. Email a copy of the completed, signed AOP, along with your attached survey and any other details you have to one of your ACC members.   12. Once you’ve submitted your form and spoken to an ACC member about your project, you’ll need to call April Rigby with Hays County Development Services to make arrangements to obtain your permit. 512-393-2150

The ACC does not sign off on AOPs until you’ve received a permit from the county and provide us with a copy.

Please note that an AOP is required by the ACC for a fence but a permit is not required for fencing.
