Leisurewoods is located at the intersection of FM 1626 and RR 967, just outside the Buda city limits. We are just 10 minutes from I-35 and downtown Buda offers a number of great shopping opportunities, a great library and awesome get-togethers on the first Thursday of every month along Main Street.

We are also just minutes from the Hays branch of the YMCA.

Leisurewoods is in the Hays Consolidated Independent School District, and our schools are:

• Carpenter Hill Elementary
• Dahlstrom Middle School and
• Johnson High School

Community spirit abounds here in Buda TX, with the nationally-known 

Wiener Dog Races in April and Budafest in December of each year. There are numerous parks in the area, and lots of fun, old-fashioned shops downtown to discover. A new Post Office opened in late 2009, and a Cabela’s is one of the most visual landmarks that greets those who approach Buda TX from I-35.
